Affixing the executive formula to notarised instruments that the law allows to be enforced directly.
When you need this service
- Enforcing a notarised instrument containing an obligation to pay or deliver without a substantive lawsuit
- Application by the creditor after the debt falls due
Documents required
In all cases
- Original Emirates ID of all parties (original passport for non-residents)
- Personal attendance, or video identity verification for remote notarisation
- Phone number and email for each party
- Draft of the instrument, if available
In addition
- Original notarised instrument
- Evidence that the obligation is due, where applicable
Official fee
Official fee per Decision No. 312 of 2025 as applied by the Dubai Courts system to this procedure; confirmed before processing.

Optional professional fee A professional fee of up to 30% of the official fee may apply under Cabinet Resolution No. 19 of 2024, except for the items specified in the Resolution. The final amount is confirmed before signing.
