  Broad authority in civil and administrative matters

  Authority limited to a specific act or transaction

  Manage, sell or buy real estate — registration is completed at the Dubai Land Department

• Vehicle POA

  Sell, transfer or renew a vehicle

• Company POA

  Represent the company before authorities and banks

• Non-Muslim marriage POA

  Authority to complete civil-marriage formalities

• POA cancellation

  Revoke an earlier POA and notify the attorney

• Exclusive agency

  Accreditation of an exclusive commercial agency

Documents required

In all cases

• Original Emirates ID of all parties (original passport for non-residents)
• Personal attendance, or video identity verification for remote notarisation
• Phone number and email for each party
• Draft of the instrument, if available

In addition

• Attorney's name and a copy of their Emirates ID or passport
• Property POA: copy of the title deed or property details
• Vehicle POA: copy of the vehicle registration
• Company POA and exclusive agency: trade licence, MOA and authorising resolution
• Cancellation: copy of the original POA being revoked
• Non-Muslim marriage POA: passports of both parties
