Translator signature authentication
Attesting the signature of a licensed legal translator on the translation submitted.
When you need this service
- A certified translation is required for a foreign document submitted in the UAE
- Court and government documents not in Arabic
Documents required
In all cases
- Original Emirates ID of all parties (original passport for non-residents)
- Personal attendance, or video identity verification for remote notarisation
- Phone number and email for each party
- Draft of the instrument, if available
In addition
- Translator's personal attendance and Emirates ID
- Valid legal-translator licence issued by the Ministry of Justice
- Original document and the translation
Official fee
Official fee = (number of parties × AED 100) + (number of signatures × AED 100). Add AED 30 for each certified copy required.

Optional professional fee A professional fee of up to 30% of the official fee may apply under Cabinet Resolution No. 19 of 2024, except for the items specified in the Resolution. The final amount is confirmed before signing.
